Combining glossy acrylic sheets and matt 3D printed elements I replicated famous album covers. Initially this was just for myself but after some interest I began selling this on Etsy reaching roughly 35+ sales with only 5 star reviews.

Technical Challenges
One major technical challenge for this project was with the adhesive would often smear or leak around the elements causing an unclean look, this was solved through a combination of a lower viscosity glue , a stencil for alignment as well as channels to hide the glue.

The second challenge was packaging, as acrylic is brittle the packaging has to be sturdy enough to survive international shipping while keeping the costs as low as possible. The final packaging design suspends the poster in the centre of a pizza style postal box in foam corner pieces meaning no hard surface was touching the wall of the box.
